Five local pubs shortlisted
In Portrush The Cellar Bar has been shortlisted in the Best Charity Event category whilst The Harbour Bistro has been shortlisted for Best Food while Willie Gregg of the Harbour Bar is up for Barperson of the Year and Kiwi’s Brew Bar is up for Best New or Improved.
The Railway Arms in Coleraine has been shortlisted for the prestigious Pub of the Year award and Clare Johnston from the Railway Arms has been shortlisted for Barperson of the Year.

Hide AdWinners of the ten award categories – including the much sought after Pub of the Year title – will be revealed at a special gala awards night hosted by Cool FM breakfast show host, Pete Snodden, at La Mon Hotel and Country Club on Wednesday, November 12.
Commenting on the awards Pubs of Ulster chairman, Mark Stewart, said: “To be a great pub means more than serving a great pint. From first class food to charity work, innovative events and great entertainment, our pubs are helping to raise standards across the whole hospitality sector.
