BALLYMENA United boss Roy Walker has strengthened his defensive options by signing former Manchester City trainee Chris Ramsey.
The west Belfast man, who played in Northern Ireland's successful MIlk Cup under-20 team this summer, can play at either centre-back or full-back.
Ramsey is likely to figure in the panel for tonight's (Tuesday) rearranged Carling Premiership match at Cliftonville, provided United receive clearance from the English FA.
"I felt it was important to bolster the defence as we're stretched in that area with injuries," said Walker, who will be minus a number of key players for the trip to Solitude.
The biggest concern is leading scorer Kevin Kelbie, who is unlikely to make it because of swelling to his knee.
ALbert Watson, Philip Carson and George Stewart are definitely out, while Aidan Watson is a doubt after being injured for the Reserves on Saturday, but defender Mark Surgenor has recovered from flu.
