Funders fair invite

GROUPS and projects across the borough can get a taste of vital funding opportunities available to them at the annual Funders Fair event in Craigavon Civic and Conference Centre.
Organised by Craigavon Borough Council’s development department, the free Funders Fair will take place on Tuesday, February 19 from 7pm to 9pm and will give local organisations the opportunity to speak to a wide range of funders, gather key information on current grant aid schemes available to them and ask specific questions directly to the funders themselves.
Funders represented will include Age NI, Tada, Mencap, Nicva and Business in the community.
In addition, the Community Development Team is also running a series of funding workshops in February and March.
On February 4 a funding strategy workshop will take place from 7 to 8pm which will help support local groups to think more strategically about what funding will best support the needs of their group.
On March 11 a funding application workshop will take place from 2 to 8pm. Groups will have the opportunity to book a one hour slot with a representative of NICVA who will give them advice on how to complete a funding application form. Ring 02838312483 to book a place.
