Love your church at Thomas Street

FOLLOWING the success of their inaugural Love Your Church Week in February 2012, Thomas Street Methodist Church have announced plans for a similar venture this year.

All sections of the community, including church members, are invited to the various events between February 10 and 17.

Church members will be wrapping and distributing heart-shaped chocolates during the week. The Thomas Street Methodist Church Outreach team would welcome help from anyone wishing to get involved with the Love Your Church Week.

Further information on the Love Your Church Week can be obtained from the church office 028 38 36 1213 between 9.30am and 12 noon, Monday to Friday, or from Eddie Drury on 07866273306.

The Love Your Church Week starts on Sunday, February 10 with a family breakfast with speaker Mayor Carla Lockhart. There will be an overseas mission service at morning worship (11am) and a BB Old Boys Bible class at 3pm.

On February 11 there will be a congregation meal at Zio Restaurant at 7pm. Music will be by Chris Maguire and there will be a quiz.

Other events are as follows: February 12 - GB pampering night; February 13; BB/Midweek meeting pizza night; February 14: open door event, evening door-to-door community outreach; February 15: BB table quiz night; February 16: prayer morning, gospel music evening with The Harvesters; February 17: family service at morning worship, evening testimony service in the upper room.
