Markethill market is back
MARKETHILL Country Market returns tomorrow (Saturday) after a break.
All the regular producers will be there, as well as three new ones.
The market is always keen to offer new products, whether it be home baking, chutneys, honey products or crafts, and any producers interested in joining should speak to Daphne McCammon.
It is also continuing its support for several charities, with proceeds of Maureen’s cards going to Adopt A Child (which also has a charity shop at the roundabout in Markethill).
Betty continues to work for Project Linus, providing comfort blankets, and all proceeds from the sale of refreshments at the market is also given to charity.
Members also enjoyed taking part in the Open Garden event as part of Markethill Festival, which supported the work of Project Romania and the Southern Area Hospice.
