Poetry and prose at Vinecash WI

AN evening of poetry, prose and puppets took place at Vinecash WI during February.

President Deirdre Kilner welcomed members. The poetry and prose, which included both modern and traditional, were introduced through the medium of the puppets by Brenda, Elizabeth and Patricia. The vote of thanks was given by Lila McNeil.

The competition for ‘A Childhood Toy’ was won by Irene Troughton with runner-up Marie Wright and Violet England in third place.
