MILLINGTON P.S hockey teams, A and B, attended a friendly hockey tournament in March.

This event took place in Cookstown.

Many schools participated in this, but they were spread out on four pitches. Millington B played against Markethill and two other schools. It was tough work for Millington B as they were playing against A teams. Although they gave it their best! Millington B failed to win any of their matches. One was not too bad as they were beat one-nil. A team player from Millington (Alex Chan – Taylor) said, “Even though were it was hard, we gave it our best shot!”

Millington would like to give thanks to Mrs. Evans for driving both teams to Cookstown and the people who organized the tournament.
