Season at Ballydougan Patchwork

THE new season of Ballydougan Patchwork Group will start on Wednesday, September 12 at 10am in Bleary Farmers Hall in Upper Ballydougan Road, Portadown.

The group’s first tutor this year will be Mrs Betty Fiddes who will teach the technique of foundation piecing. Betty is an experienced patchworker and will also be able to help those ladies who have projects already on hand.

Mrs Sheila Tinsley, who had been the resident tutor at Ballydougan for over ten years, retired at the end of May. A presentation was made to Sheila in appreciation of her teaching of many needlework skills and generosity over the years.

New members are welcome and if anyone would like further information call 028 38831470.
