THE Market Place Theatre, Armagh is featuring two very different events in the next fortnight with Peter Corry in concert on Thursday, February 28 and a new drama, 'The Winners', on Thursday, March 6.
Corry, who has the kind of voice that makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck, takes audiences on a musical roller-coaster ride of emotion.
Originally from Northern Ireland, he has travelled the world performing timeless classics. His astonishing talent spans the great musicals, opera, rock, jazz and the haunting melodies of Ireland. Tickets are £18.50.
A week later on March 6, Ransom Productions - the award-winning company that brought audiences 'Hurricane' and 'This Piece Of Earth' - visit Armagh with their new drama, 'The Winners', a hilarious black comedy set in the underbelly of 'new' Belfast.
A fast-paced frolic through double-dealing and deception - with a little bit of romance thrown in for good measure - 'The Winners' is shockingly irreverent and salaciously saucy.
Both shows start at 8pm and tickets can be booked via the box office on 028 3752 1821, or online at www.marketplacearmagh.com
