ONE of Oscar Wilde's most popular stories will be enacted at Portadown Town Hall next Saturday (November 8).
‘Star Child’, produced by Surrey-based ‘Support Act’, has played to packed houses throughout England and in view of the accolades the show has attracted, staff at the Town Hall are hopeful that locals will turn out in force for the two matinees at no
on and 2pm.

A family show and therefore suitable for all ages, in particular it caters for children up to the age of 12.

‘Star Child’ is the musical adaptation of Wilde’s marvellous tale which treats the audience to an exhilarating tour of mixed emotions and sound morals.

Featuring original songs, the story is told by two actors, with the use of puppets for the characters of Dog, Crow, Squirrel and Rabbit. Fabulous entertainment.

Admission is just £5 - £15 for a family of four - which is great value for money, with tickets available from Winnie’s Newsagents, Woodhouse Street and Wray Cleaners, Edward Street. In addition, special rates are available for groups (phone the Town Hall on 028 3833 5264 for details).

There are also 10 free tickets to be won. To enter, simply name the show to be staged in the Town Hall on November 8 and submit your entry to Connie, c/o Portadown Town Hall, 17 Edward Street, Portadown, BT62 3LX.
