Portadown College are adding the final touches to this year’s drama production, which is taking place over two nights next week.

The College production this year is Hobson’s Choice, set in Salford, 1880.

An energetic cast of 12 students portray this classic Lancashire comedy, where a Victorian battle of the sexes takes place, as father and daughter go head to head in this intelligently staged production.

A substantial team of Art students has been working on the set, producing several changes of location.

Live brass music from College music students, both before and during the performances, will add to the jovial mood of the play.

The performances are being held on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27 at 7.30pm. Adults cost £5 and student/concession are £3. Tickets are available from Monday, November 23 at 1.30pm in the foyer on the night.
