Countdown on to the Brownlow Festival

A week-long programme packed with free activities kicks off on Saturday with the Brownlow Festival Fun Day/Brownlow Hub fourth birthday celebrations.

The fun day will feature magic acts, puppet shows, mini games and climbing wall.

The festival, running until September 5, offers a number of activities such as the Park Run, football and bowling tournaments, vintage tea dance, and movie screenings.

The week of events is concluded with the festival on Saturday, September 5 at Craigavon Lakes. The event will offer a range of activities including tug of war, dragon boat race, archery, climbing wall, photo booth, barbecue and music.

There will also be a dog demonstration.

Proceeds generated will be given to the Mandeville Unit in Craigavon Area Hospital.

The festival, organised by Brownlow Festival Committee and a range of statutory organisations has been funded by the council with support from Sainsbury’s Craigavon.
