Southern Area Hospice Services have released tickets for their upcoming fundraising event, ‘Strictly Goes Country’.

The ‘Strictly Goes Country’ will take place on Saturday, June 27 in Armagh City Hotel, supported by ‘Get Fit Come Dancing’, Media Partners, Irish TV.

Ten couples have been training since April in preparation for the big night. They will be jiving, line-dancing and doing the huckle-buck all to the beat of country music in a bid to impress the audience and the judging panel, who will be placing their votes to determine who the winning couple will be. Following the results, the audience will be able to dance the night away with music provided by a country DJ.

The star-studded judging panel for the event includes Country Music Star Susan McCann and Frank Mitchell of U105 who are both long serving patrons of Southern Area Hospice Services, along with two expert dance instructors, Niall Doorhy and Turlough O’Neill.

The couples who will be taking to the stage are: Couple 1: Olivia Hamill (Portadown) & Andy Jardine (Aughnacloy; Couple 2: Anthony Murchan (Mullaghabawn) & Stacey Burke (Letterkenny); Couple 3: Andrew Meakin (Keady) & Partner; Couple 4: Peter McCabe (Omeath) & Geraldine Boylan (Keady); Couple 5: David Scott (Richhill) & Margaret McQuaide (Loughgilly); Couple 6: Padraig McAteer (Newry) & Caoimhe Fergus (Killeavey); Couple 7: Martin Larkin (Killeavey) & Suzanne Kelly (Dromore); Couple 8: Adam McNeilly (Cabra) & Julie Redmond (Dromore); Couple 9: Céallach Grant (Newry) & Cathal Trainor (Newry); Couple 10: Jason Magowan and Suzanne Rooney.
