‘Fox and donkey’ tale the concept behind latest Microlip video

A FOX and a donkey both vying for the affections of a beautiful woman is the surreal and original concept for Microlip’s latest video which was shot in Portadown.

In the video the ‘four-legged’ roles are played by three actors wearing large animal heads who all attempt to woo the young woman.

Directed by Darren Lee, ‘Move On’ once again showcases the group’s hometown at its finest with the guys taking centre stage at Shamrock Park. Other recognisable places include Church Lane, the Bann, McConville’s Bar, among others.

Uploaded to YouTube on Christmas Day, the three-minute video has racked up over 10,000 hits already with nearly 90 ‘likes’ on the band’s Facebook page.

The song, which is taken from Microlip’s yet-to-be-released second album, has been available to download since January 14 and fans got a taste of how the single sounds acoustically when the guys performed live on Cool FM’s Breakfast Show with DJs Gareth Stewart and Connor Phillips.

‘Move On’ is available to download from iTunes now at https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/move-on-single/id592778582. Microlip can be found on Facebook and band merchandise can be purchased at http://microlipmerch.bigcartel.com/
