editorial image

KILLICOMAINE Junior High School’s performance of ‘Annie’ was a huge success, receiving great praise for its costume and scenery as well as the high standard of acting, singing and dancing.

This production will certainly be remembered with pride and delight by all those involved.

Large audiences, which included the Mayor, members of the Board of Governors, past teachers including Mr and Mrs Riley - former headmaster and his wife and guests from the Edenderry Fold, rewarded the cast for their captivating performance with spontaneous applause and standing ovations on both evenings.

Max the shaggy bearded collie, played his part to perfection and was completely at ease with all the action on the stage and the loud applause.

The cast and backstage helpers numbered over 100 and their enjoyment of the limelight was plain for all to see. Both performances demonstrated the high level of dedication and determination put into this drama production by the cast and crew.

This was certainly a memorable production for all those involved.
