New bus day ticket

BUS passengers in Portadown will now be able to avail of a new £2.40 Ulsterbus day ticket which provides unlimited day travel on all local Town Service routes.

Translink Portadown srvice delivery manager Randal Roderick said, “We are delighted to introduce our new Ulsterbus Day Ticket. This ticket offers great value, especially when compared to fuel and parking costs, and will be especially convenient for local passengers who are regular users of the Town Services.”

The new ticket can be purchased on-board from the driver and has been designed to make travel throughout Portadown, Lurgan and Banbridge as easy and convenient as possible.

It is of particular benefit to people who make numerous hop on and hop off journeys within each town on a daily basis.

Mr Roderick added, “The new day ticket has been designed with our regular town service bus passengers in mind and will provide significant savings for these passengers. In addition customers can still use their Smartlink card and if they top up with ten journeys the cost is just £0.90 per journey. This is a great offer, particularly for anyone just travelling in and out of town and with journeys valid for a whole year it really is the smart way to travel.”
