The now traditional ‘Jake’s Coffee Morning’ is taking place on Saturday September 19 in aid of the Children’s Heartbeat Trust and the Down’s Syndrome Association.
It is an integral part of Country Comes To Town and will be, as ever, at the Masonic Hall, Thomas Street, from 10am-4pm.
Jake Flaherty died just after his second birthday. And his parents Julie and Wayne keep his memory alive by organising fund-raising events. The coffee morning is one of the most important and raises substantial sums of money.
Tea, coffee and other refreshments are available on the day, and everyone is welcome to nip up and have a break on Portadown’s special day.
