A coffee morning held in Killicomaine Jubilee Community Centre has raised £600 for Help for Heroes.

The event, organised by Neil Robinson was attended by people from the local community and locally elected representatives, including the Lord Mayor Darryn Causby and Doug Beattie MC.

Neil commented, “The coffee morning was enjoyed by everyone who came along for a cuppa, chat and gave them the opportunity to donate towards a charity that is nationally recognised in helping injured armed servicemen and women who have returned from serving in the forces and support those families who have been affected.

“I would like to thank GK Stores, P&G Foods, Moutray’s Costcutter and also individuals who supported the coffee morning through donations.”
