Cecil Brownlee, Everett Browne and Mervyn White from Portadown Male Voice Choir, internationally renowned Northern Irish Soprano Margaret Keys and Age NI Fundraising Officer Rosalind Cole show their support for the charity's Gala Concert of Male Voice Choirs at the Ulster Hall.
PORTADOWN Male Voice Choir will perform with internationally renowned soprano Margaret Keys at Belfast’s Ulster Hall on Friday, February 2 in support of Age NI’s Spread the Warmth campaign.
Choir member Cecil Brownlee said, “We’re looking forward to performing at the Age NI Gala Concert in the Ulster Hall and sharing the stage with Margaret Keys and the other male voice choirs for a Grand Finale. This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to formally support Age NI’s campaign to improve winter for people in later life while at the same time enjoying a great night of music and song.”
Siobhan Casey, Age NI director of marketing, said, “Age NI is delighted to present this Gala Concert at the Ulster Hall to raise funds for older people to stay warm, well and in touch in winter. A big thank you to all of the male voice choirs for taking part. We also welcome the support of local soprano Margaret Keys who has giving her time and talent to perform at this event which promises to be an enjoyable evening of entertainment.”
The show starts at 7.15pm and tickets cost £15 each which are available from the Ulster Hall box office on 9033 4455 or www.ulsterhall.co.uk. Alternatively email rosalind.cole@ageni.org for more information.
