Admitted criminal damage

A 29-year-old man has admitted a series of offences including three criminal damage charges and making a threat to damage property.

Kieran George McCavana, Hill Street, Gilford, appeared last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court via videolink from Maghaberry prison.

His barrister said he would be pleading guilty to all the offences.

They are criminal damage to a sofa on July 8 this year, criminal damage to a door, criminal damage to a police car, making a threat to damage property, attempted criminal damage to a car and resisting a constable.

The case was adjourned until October 28 so that a pre-sentence report could be obtained.
