A job fair and advice forum is being held on Thursday, February 5 at the Seagoe Hotel.

It will be attended by more than 30 employers, including Almac, Omniplex Cinemas, Teleperformance and Fane Valley, as well as a number of support and training organisations.

The fair, which is free and open to everyone, takes place between 10am and 5pm. It will offer jobseekers employment opportunities on the day, careers guidance, advice on training and jobsearch skills.

It has been organised by the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) in conjunction with Craigavon Borough Council.

A series of employer presentations from a number of organisations such as Almac, Southern Health and Social Care Trust and BT will also take place. The presentations will provide information on the type of jobs on offer, how to apply for current positions and the type of person the organisation looks for in a potential employee.

There will be a free shuttle bus available from Portadown Jobs & Benefits office, Jervis Street, Portadown, from 10am each hour.
