Gerald Ratner to speak at Portadown business breakfast

He achieved notoriety after making a speech in which he jokingly denigrated two of the company’s products, which caused the company’s near collapse now known as the ‘Ratner effect.’

He will be joined by The Apprentice semi-finalist, Grainne McCoy and mentoring consultant, Kevin Houston who will all take to the podium to share their successes and how they’ve overcome challenges they’ve faced throughout their careers

The free event which takes place on Wednesday March 1, is organised by Portadown Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Department for Communities and Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council at Portadown Town Hall from 8am – 11am. The event is hosted by Pamela Ballentine.
