The annual Walk of Witness, organised by Portadown Churches Together, will take place in Portadown town centre on Good Friday.

Walkers from Roman Catholic, Methodist, Church of Ireland, Presbyterian and Salvation Army churches in the town will be taking part.

They will assemble at around 11am at the plaza outside St Mark’s Parish Church and will make a short tour of the main street before returning to the plaza for an act of worship at 11.30 am.

There will be the opportunity for a cup of tea afterwards.

The group is also holding an Easter Sunday dawn service at the plaza, beginning at 6.15 am.

Each church will have its own arrangements for morning services.

On Easter Sunday evening, there will be a viewing of Dr Billy Graham’s presentation, ‘The Worth of a Soul’, in St Mark’s Church at 7pm.
