Cocaine seized from male

Police in Portadown have recovered a small amount of suspected cocaine with help from the public.

Officers were on patrol in the High Street area around 1.10am on Sunday, 22 November, when they received information about a male acting suspiciously.

Police observed the man run across the road into take away premises.

The man was stopped and searched and a quantity of suspected cocaine was seized.

The 28 year old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs.

He was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
