The Birches Vintage Club will be holding its annual supper dance on Saturday, March 7 in aid of the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.

Country Features will provide the backing music for artists Cathy Kane, Boxcar Brian, Kaitlin and Joe Moore. The evening will also feature a special performance from Crystal Swing.

The venue is the Seagoe Hotel and the event starts at 8pm.

The supper dance has been running for more than 21 years, and has raised thousands of pounds to support charities in Northern Ireland.

Last year’s event raised £9,000 for the children’s hospice.

Chairperson John Wilson said, “The event continues to grow every year and we would like to thank everyone who has supported our events over the years and helped to make them a success”.

Community fundraiser Jenay Doyle said it costs £3 million every year to fund the children’s hospice service, with £2.5m coming from voluntary donations.

Tickets cost £10. They are available from John Wilson on 077 3341 7540 or Jenay Doyle on 079 676 953 42.
