The court heard he was stopped while driving on the Lake Road in Craigavon and asked to produce his driving documents.

His licence was invalid and he had no certificate of insurance.

Ward had a previous conviction for driving without insurance in 2005.

Mr Conor Downey, representing the defendant, said Ward’s licence had expired in 2014 and he appreciated he was going to be disqualified.
