A learner driver admitted last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court that he had driven without being supervised and without displaying ‘L’ plates.

Petru Bataneant, whose address was given as Thomas Street, Portadown, pleaded guilty personally at the court to the offences.

He was fined £75, ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy and given three points for driving while unaccompanied and fined £25 for not displaying ‘L’ plates.

They came to light when he was seen driving in High Street, Portadown, on July 27 this year.
