Single farmers are invited to sign up for the annual ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ event organised by Southern Area Hospice Services.

It will take place in The Armagh City Hotel on Friday, September 25.

Eligible farmers will be interviewed on stage by Malachi Cush, and will have the chance to perform a talent. In the past, talents have included everything from cow milking demonstrations to jiving.

Following the interviews, the audience and judging panel will place their votes for their favourite farmer. When the winner has been crowned, there will be a blind date style finale to the show. The show will be followed by music and dancing to Johnny Brooks.

For more information contact Anne on 028 3025 1333 or email macoscara@southernareahospiceservices.org.

Tickets for the show (£12.50 each) are on sale from Southern Area Hospice reception, Armagh City Hotel reception, or Tullyherron Farm Feeds, by contacting Anne on 028 3025 1333 or online at www.eventbrite.co.uk.

The event’s main sponsors are Tullyherron Farm Feeds and Armagh City Hotel.
