A 50 years of Service to the Apprentice Boys of Derry was celebrated by Eric Webb and Officers and Members of the Portadown Branch Club as they attended The Closing of the Gates Ceremony in Londonderry last Saturday 7th December.

Eric has been a member of Portadown Branch Club for his years in the Apprentice Boys of Derry.

This is not the only Service medal Eric has been awarded - He has been a member of LOL22, Bocombra True Blues, for 50 years and received his 50 year service medal from this lodge earlier in the year.

As with the Apprentice Boys Eric has been a member of the same lodge, LOL 22, for all that time. He is a very dedicated man. Eric is also a member of RBP 315, Bocombra Star of Peace and will soon celebrate 50 years of service there too.

“I have had the privilege in being a member in all of the above organisations with Eric. His wealth of experience is called upon regularly by the all of members as he has held office at various levels - he is truly respected and Loyal Brother,” said Alexander McCausland, Secretary: Apprentice Boy of Derry Portadown Branch Club.
