Community Outreach Group Meeting
The next meeting of the Community Outreach Group is at 8pm in the Jethro Centre on Wednesday, April 13.
It will be a presentation entitled ‘The Life and Legacy of St Columbanus’ by Dr Therese Cullen from the Irish School of Ecumenics.
Having served under St Comgall at Bangor Abbey until his 40th year, St Columbanus and twelve companions set off for Europe in AD 583 where he was to spend the rest of his life establishing Celtic Christianity throughout France, Germany, Switzerland and Northern Italy - a remarkable and eventful life motivated by his devotion to the Gospel teaching.
The group’s meetings are open to everyone, light refreshments will be served and a warm welcome is extended to all.
