South Lough Neagh Regeneration Association (SLNRA) will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary in 2016. To mark this occasion SLNRA have organised a number of Heritage/Cultural Programmes to be delivered in the local community.

The first of the events will be their “Summer Ramble”, which is a series of Historical Townland Walks and Talks.

The Summer Ramble will be led by a local historian who will provide a map and local historical information. These walks are also in association with the Aghagallon and District Walking Group.

The first walk will take place in Derrytrasna on Thursday, 28th July, at 7pm, leaving from the Bay Hall.

The second walk will be in Aghagallon on Thursday, 18th August, at 7pm, leaving from the Rusty Tractor. The walks will be three miles and will last approx. two hours. Complimentary refreshments after the walk will be provided.

Contact SLNRA on 3885 2550 for further information.
