THE Mayor of Craigavon, Councillor Alan Carson, has helped launched the MS Society’s Cake Break scheme in the borough.
Mr Carson launched the initiative along with Rosie Whiteside and Eugene O’Hare of the Portadown and Craigavon district branch of the MS Society NI.
Cake Break is a deliciously easy way to fundraise for the MS Society- the UK’s largest charity dedicated to supporting people affected by multiple sclerosis. It takes place on Friday, May 4 as part of MS Week between April 30 and May 6.
Tom Mallon, fundraising manager of the MS Society Northern Ireland said, “Although the official date is Friday, May 4 people can organise their event whenever it suits them Anyone that would like to join our Cake Break initiative can order a host pack today by calling us on 028 9080 2802 or by visiting www.mssociety.org.uk/cakebreak.”
