The 50 employees at Natural World Products (NWP) Commerical in Portadown will be retained following a takeover of the company.

The local firm was bought over by Irish Energy Investments Limited, now the largest independent waste management business in Northern Ireland.

Irish Energy Investments, which already owns RiverRidge Recycling, announced that they will begin rebranding NWP Commerical as RiverRidge Recycling in the coming weeks. The transaction is the third acquisition the group has completed in the last four years but is its most significant.
