Admits drink driving and assaults

The case against a Lurgan man was adjourned last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court so that a pre-sentence report could be obtained.

Johnny Lee Gibson (20), Brownlow Terrace, Lurgan, admitted a series of offences.

They included driving with excess alcohol in breath at Brownlow Terrace on October 27 last year and two assaults on police and resisting a constable on October 28.

A barrister representing the defendant said her client was currently the subject of a probation order and asked for a probation report.

District Judge Benita Boyd adjourned the case until March 4 so that a pre-sentence report could be obtained.
