Burlgary attempts in Waringstown

Police in Craigavon are asking the public to be vigilant after two attempted burglaries in Waringstown.

Two houses in the Murray Wood area were targeted by would-be thieves sometime between 7pm and 11.30pm on Wednesday, 20 April.

Constable Kenny said: “We would like to hear from anyone who noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area around this time. We are also encouraging residents to be vigilant and keep an eye out for any activity or vehicles which look out of place in your neighbourhood. If you see something that doesn’t look right, phone us straight away.

“We are focusing on burglary during the coming weeks and asking all residents to be mindful of their home security. Please make sure your windows and doors are locked at all times, keep all valuables out of sight and ask someone to keep an eye on your property if it is going to be any vacant for any length of time.”
