Divers are searching a lake for the Portadown man missing since Thursday’s angling tragedy in County Westmeath.

Darryl Burke (30) hasn’t been seen following the boating accident on Lough Ree on Thursday afternoon.

David Warnock (27) died after being rescued from the water while John Trimble (60) is now in a stable condition in hospital.

Searches since have been hampered by bad weather.

Sunday’s search involves divers, the Lough Ree life boat and local fishermen.

Over 200 people attended a vigil in Portadown on Saturday night. It was attended by members of the Portadown Pikers Club.
