The Argory and Ardress House are two of the National Trust properties hosting the Cadbury Eggsplorers Easter Egg Trail.
The Cadbury and National Trust Egg Trails add an element of fun to the traditional egg hunt, with plenty to see, do and learn. Whether you’re a child or simply young at heart, adventure is sure to lie ahead. Follow the clues around the picturesque gardens of The Argory and open spaces at Springhill; complete fun-filled challenges at Ardress House and Wellbrook Beetling Mill to hunt down a delicious Cadbury prize.
Each trail is totally unique to its location and offers a range of activities for all the family to enjoy. Design Your Own Egg Head - children can enter the competition for the chance to see their own design come to life on a real Cadbury Easter Egg Head; Sack races - leap ahead and bring out your competitive streak; Face painting - a sure fire winner with people of all ages, and many other traditional Easter activities.
Newly hatched Easter chicks will be on view at Ardress House. See what little fluffy chicks grow up to look like with Mummy and Daddy hens and ducks also on display!
For the second year running families can take part in a traditional Easter favourite - the egg and spoon race! Cadbury and National Trust are calling all racers, young and old, to join in the fun and to kick off the race of the season.
What’s more, all Eggsplorers will receive a delicious chocolatey treat at the end of each completed trail, and every single Cadbury Easter Egg Trail will help support special places.
Whatever you’re into, the National Trust Mid Ulster properties have something for everyone this Easter.
