Former butcher passes away

Mr Alex Curran, who had a butcher’s shop for many years at Market Street, Tandragee, died this week at Faith House in Belfast, after a short illness.

Mr Curran, who lived at Scarva Road, Tandragee and had been in retirement for some years, was buried in Banbridge cemetery after a funeral service in Banbridge Gospel Hall on Wednesday.

He is survived by his son Alex and predeceased by his wife Mary Isobel and son Ian.
