Helicopter deployed as police arrest three men in Portadown

Police in Portadown have arrested three men following an attempted burglary in Kernan Hill Manor in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).

At 12.30am police received a report of a number of males attempting to open a car and making their way to the rear of a house.

Officers attended and arrested a 30-year-old male.

The PSNI helicopter was deployed and a further two males, aged 20 and 28 years old, were detained close by.

Police found a window of the house in Kernan Hill Manor had been broken.

The three males were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
