A coffee morning in memory of Portadown toddler Jake Flaherty (right) who died in May will take place on the Saturday of Country Comes to Town.
Teas, coffees and refreshments will be served in Portadown Masonic recreation club, Thomas Street (opposite the swimming pool), from 10am until 4pm.
Jake was born with a congenital heart disorder and his parents Julie and Wayne were part of a local campaign group fighting to save children’s heart surgery at the Royal in Belfast.
The campaign was supported by the charity, the Children’s Heartbeat Trust, and proceeds will be forwarded to it by Jake’s granda and nanny, Ted and Lorraine Hunniford.
All donations are welcome.
