A Portadown man who had drugs valued at £300 in his rucksack was given 200 hours community service last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.
Twenty one year old Jamie Flett, Corcrain Drive, Portadown, admitted possession of herbal cannabis on November 6 and unlawfully supplying it to another person.
The case had been adjourned for a sentence report.
Police spoke to the defendant at Lake Road in Craigavon and he admitted he had cannabis. He accepted he had given some to friends but not for money.
