The action is really hotting up for local author Stuart Neville who is set to launch his fifth novel next week, with plans also under way to turn another novel into a TV series.
Stuart, who lives in the Armagh area, will launch The Final Silence at Belfast’s No Alibis bookstore on Thursday, July 3.
A television adaptation of his previous novel, Ratlines, is also in development, with Stuart as screenwriter and executive producer.
The series is being jointly developed by Belfast-based KGB Screen and Dublin-based Ripple World Pictures, with development funding from RTE Drama and Northern Ireland Screen.
Ratlines, which is about Nazis harboured by the Irish state following WWII, has been short-listed and long-listed for various awards.
Also forthcoming is Belfast Noir, an anthology of short stories set in Belfast, edited by Stuart and fellow Northern Irish crime author Adrian McKinty.
Belfast Noir is the latest in a long-running series of anthologies set in cities around the world.
