Outpouring of grief for Yasmin

Portadown has been left stunned by the sudden death of 16-year-old Craigavon Senior High School pupil Yasmin Houston.

The year 12 pupil passed away at Craigavon Hospital on Sunday night, prompting an outpouring of tributes on Facebook. Almost 300 people had left comments on Yasmin’s Facebook page by yesterday (Thursday).

Hugh McCarthy of Killicomaine Junior High, which Yasmin attended,told the Times, “We will remember Yasmin as a pleasant, outgoing pupil who played a full part in school life. As a school community we are saddened by her death. We wish to pass our condolences to the family circle.”
