Around 5,000 turned out as One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson made his debut for Doncaster Rovers Football Club - with the pop star sharing the field with Portadown-born Luke McCullough.

Tomlinson’s deal with boyhood club Rovers in aid of charity sparked plenty of interest from fans of the record-breaking boyband and his introduction on 65 minutes against Rotherham United was greeted by mass cheers. However, centre-back McCullough - who joined Rovers last summer - was presumably more concerned with a clean sheet for the reserves.
