Sent for trial on assault charge
A 35-year-old man had been returned for trial to Craigavon Crown Court on an assault charge.
Colin Bryars, Fitzroy Street, Portadown, appeared last Friday at a preliminary enquiry at Craigavon courthouse.
The charge against him alleges that on October 30 last year he unlawfully and maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm on a male.
Bryars was remanded on his own bail of £250 to appear for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court on September 6.
