Glamorous models will be taking to the streets of Portadown tomorrow (Saturday) from 11am-3pm, showcasing the fabulous fashion the town has to offer at a spectacular ‘Spring Made Stylish’ event.

Organised by Craigavon Borough Council, the event will exhibit the latest looks for spring/summer with TV personality Pamela Ballantine escorting the professional models, including current Mr NI Michael McCann, around Portadown’s wonderful eateries showcasing dazzling dresses, sensational shoes, comfy coats and trend-setting tops.

Fashionista’s will revel in the colourful collections modelled from local independent boutiques and affordable high street outlets. From handbags to gladrags, cardi’s to cover ups, menswear to glitzy clothes – there is sure to be something for everyone.

Cool FM’s promotional team will also be rocking up in Portadown to offer exclusive discounts for the retail partners taking part in the event including The Bottom Drawer, Sitara Morgan, Hanger 13, The Wardrobe, Benetton, Ambience, DV8, Blue Inc, Ellie Meg, Rhubarb, Statement Menswear, McQuillans, Tom Morrow and JR McMahon. Hair will be styled by The Academy - Portadown’s newly opened hair and beauty school.

In addition, there will be street performers including Sunny Day Stollers - tall characters sure to make your day and a live acoustic session from Mr Maxyl Walmsley.

Town centre manager, Lyn McNeill, comments, “This event is the perfect opportunity for all fashionistas to check out the latest looks for spring and summer 2014. Come along and pick up some fashion tips and enjoy the music and entertainment – it’s sure to be a great afternoon.”
