The proprietor of McWilliams Car Sales has hit out at two thugs who damaged a number of vehicles on the premises recently.

Councillor Terry McWilliams examined CCTV footage and watched as two young men kicked and jumped on cars.

He said, “It was genuinely gut wrenching to see two individuals try and destroy my property, I take pride in my business and I have worked hard to build it up over the years and this has been a terrible setback. Times are difficult enough for businesses without this nonsense and I am now looking at a bill in excess of £1,500 to repair the damage caused.

“These thugs need to be caught and face the full rigour of the law before they do any more damage.”

Councillor Darryn Causby said, “After looking at the CCTV footage I can only describe what happened as wanton destruction. These two individuals clearly have gone into a blind rage.

“The wing mirror of one of the damaged vehicles was found lying up beside Portadown College which clearly points in the direction these people have travelled.”
