Woman found in possession of heroin

Juliana Szombatiova, whse address was given as Clonavon Avenue, Portadown, admitted possession of the class A drug on August 21 last year.

The court heard that when she was searched by police she admitted having a small quantity of the drug on her. It had a street value of £11.

District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said he was concerned about the nature of the drug rather than the quantity.

He said he would need to have a pre-sentence report and adjourned sentencing until March 2.
