A woman has been sexually assaulted in the grounds of Craigavon Area Hospital.
Police said they are hunting for two men after the 33 year old was attacked on Wednesday January 8.
Shortly before 8pm the woman was walking from a car park near the mortuary, towards a side entrance, past a cherry picker when she became aware of two males.
“One of the males was in front of her and the second was behind her. The male in front did not approach her but remained there while the second male approached and sexually assaulted her,” said a PSNI spokesperson.
The first male is described as being foreign, possibly Eastern European, 30 to 40 years old, approximately 5ft 5in or 6in tall with a shaven head. He was wearing a hoody or jacket that was red or a similar colour.
The second male is described as being foreign, possibly Eastern European, 30 to 40 years old, approximately 5ft 8in tall, of slim build with dark, short hair and swarthy skin. He was wearing a dark, waist length jacket with a zip on front and poppers/buttons at the wrists. He spoke in broken English.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or observed the two males in the vicinity of the hospital prior to or after the incident to contact them in Portadown on 0845 600 8000.
