Bicycle stolen in Mandeville Street

POLICE are appealing for information following the report of the theft of a bicycle in the Mandeville Street area on Wednesday, January 2.

It was reported that at around 1.50pm a red Townsend mountain bike had been taken by a an unknown person from outside a bookmaker’s shop in the area.

Police would ask anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact them at Mahon Road on 0845 600 8000. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111
